Why there is Difference in Urine Albumin Values among Assay Systems
<正>Human serum albumin(HSA) is a non-glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 66000 synthesized mainly in the liver.Albumin present in urine is of serum origin.Its value is thought to be mainly reflected by size and charge selectivity of glomerular basement membrane.In our recent data reference intervals in 148 healthy individuals were 4.56 mg/gCr in median ranging from 0.41 to 27.74 mg/g/Cr.Microalbuminuria is defined in the value of spot urine,30 to 299 mg/gCr,which should be detected at least in two out of three examinations.It is a well-established diagnostic and prognostic indicator for diabetic nephropathy.Now
