Oil-gas-water Three-phase Flow Regimes Identification Based on Flow Characterization in Time-frequency Domain
Oil-gas-water three-phase flow is a highly complex flow.The characterization and identification of the three-phase flow regimes is helpful to the in-depth understanding and further research of multiphase flow.For the flow regimes identification of oil-gas-water three-phase flow,considering the limited detection space,angle,and information of a single sensor,the16-electrodes conductance sensor is used to obtain cross-sectional dielectric distribution data to achieve flow regimes characterization and identification.Through performing the probability density function(PDF) and continuous wavelet transform(CWT) on the preprocessed data,the time-domain statistical characteristics and the time-frequency domain representation of the flow information at different cross-sectional heights are obtained.And using statistical methods,and Isomap feature reduction method to realize the structure visualization of oil-gas-water three-phase flow regimes.The flow regimes identification method based on flow characterization in the time-frequency domain not only realizes the detailed characterization of the three-phase flow process,but also provides a basis for the flow regimes identification of more experimental samples in the future.
