DNA Walks Analysis of Palindromes on the X Chromosomes
<正>The developed wavelet transform of a DNA walk has become a prominent tool for the hopes of improving our understanding of the biological function and evolution of life on the genomic level.In this paper,we mainly address the extraordinary patterns of the palindromes P22 on the human X chromosome and the chimpanzee X chromosome.The palindromes display special curves because of their inverted and compensatory properties by using the method of one-dimensional DNA walks.Correlations analysis of these representations based on the detrending moving average(DMA)approach indicate that regions with high similarities between the human X chromosome and the chimpanzee X chromosome have similar patterns, such as duplicated segments of the palindromes P22.Further information is elucidated through two-dimensional DNA walk discrete wavelet transform analysis.The direct and inverted duplicated segments appear differently under wavelet domains than their surrounding segments of palindromes.Interestingly,a simple model of evolution of the P22 palindromes is supposed according to the characteristic comparison between segmental duplications on the human X palindrome P22 and the chimpanzee X palindrome P22.
