  Hydrophobic nano-SiO_2 particles were prepared by surface modification,and the diameter of nano-SiO_2 particle was about 50nm. Using stiring and ultrasonic dispersing,nano-SiO_2 composite coating was obtained by adding modified nano-SiO_2 into alkyd varnish.Immersion experiment, anodic polarization and electrochemical impedance were applied to evaluate the anti-corrosion of coatings,and the results showed that the anticorrosion of coatings was improved by adding modified nano-SiO_2.In addition,the adhesive force of coating film increased by adding modified nano-SiO_2 by peel and shear experiments.And the influence of content of nano-SiO_2 on the performance of nano-SiO_2 composite coating was discussed.In this paper,the relationship between the adhesive force and the anti-corrosion of coating was studied by comparing the anti-corrosion of coating films with and without adhesive force.It was obtained that the larger the adhesive force was,the stronger the anti-corrosion was.……
