A Secure Geographic Stateless Routing for Wireless Sensor Networks

  Many routing protocols for wireless sensor networks (WSN) are not designed with security as a goal,and traditional security schemes cannot directly apply to WSN.This paper presents a secure Geographic Stateless Routing (GSR) protocol for WSN.In the process of designing secure routing,key distribution is also considered. First we extend a location-based key distribution scheme according to the features of GSR,then modify the polynomial and add the number of neighbor cells in basic model so that it not only take advantage of the geographic features of GSR but also can encrypt broadcast packets as well as unicast packets,and a node can establish direct keys with all nodes in forwarding areas.A secure routing protocol is designed based on the extended key distribution scheme.Different encryption strategies are adopted for the four kinds of messages (RTS/CTS/DATA/ACK) in GSR. Analysis shows that the secure protocol can defend against many routing attacks with low cost.……
